Recognizing Achievements: Berks County 4-H Horse Club Members Shine in 2024

Berks County 4-H Horse Club members were recognized for their participation and achievements in the horse program for 2024. Two 4-H horse clubs and one 4-H horse cloverbud club are currently active in Berks County, catering to youth between the ages of 5-18. Members have been busy participating in various programs, contests, and shows to learn more about horses.

During the recognition program, a presentation on barn safety and preventing fires was given by a 4-H member from Lehigh County. Several members were recognized for their dedication to working with their horses, with some completing over 200 hours of work. Additionally, members participated in events such as the PA 4-H dressage Championship Show and the PA State 4-H Horse Show.

Outstanding 4-H Horse Members for 2024 were recognized in different age divisions, with champions and reserve champions named. Honorable mention awards were also given, and a cloverbud graduate was acknowledged.
