Due to extreme heat conditions, Prairie Meadows Racetrack in Altoona, Iowa, has postponed the July 28 race card to July 31, with a new post time of 6 p.m. CT. This decision was made collaboratively with several local racing organizations, including the Iowa Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association and the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.

Additionally, the trials for the Prairie Meadows Derby Challenge originally set for July 28 have been rescheduled to July 31 as drawn, with the top 10 qualifiers advancing to the final on August 17.
