More than 200 future agriculture leaders graduated from Tocal College in New South Wales, preparing for careers in livestock production, cropping, farm management, equine studies, and agtech within the state’s $25 billion agriculture sector. Tocal College, one of Australia’s largest and oldest agricultural education institutions, boasts 2400 students across 73 locations and offers practical, industry-aligned training that supports both new entrants and existing workers in farming and agribusiness. The 2025 graduates included top achievers like Alyvia Lieb and Grace Shields, who praised the college for strengthening their skills and confidence.
Tocal’s programs emphasize skill development, safety, and productivity, helping New South Wales maintain its leadership in agricultural innovation. The college’s outcomes surpass national standards, with a 92% qualification completion rate and strong Indigenous and female student representation. Agriculture Minister Tara Moriarty highlighted the college’s forward-looking approach, integrating new technologies and modern techniques to ensure graduates are job-ready and equipped to contribute to a sustainable and evolving agricultural future.
