Hugo’s Home Farm in Sangonera La Verde is hosting a nine-day Christmas celebration from December 19-21, 26-28, and January 2-4, running daily from 11am to 2pm. The event features family-friendly activities such as a bouncy castle, alpaca photo opportunities, a find-the-elf competition, and chances to meet various animals. Entry is free with no reservation required, though visitors are encouraged to leave voluntary donations to support the farm’s mission.
The farm operates as a rescue center primarily for abused and abandoned equines, managed by the Helping Coco Horse Rescue charity. Alongside horses, the farm cares for a variety of animals including chickens, ducks, micro pigs, and alpacas, offering a petting corner and alpaca walks to engage visitors. Donations help cover veterinary care, rehabilitation, and re-homing costs, with all funds directly benefiting the animals. The farm is open Fridays through Sundays and welcomes visitors without prior booking.
