New Six-Bedroom Home Designed by Jae Omar and Developed by H2 Developments Sells for $4.3 Million

The newly developed six-bedroom home named “Three Planes,” designed by architect Jae Omar and developed by H2 Developments, spans 11,500 square feet on a one-acre plot. Sold by Kanye West for $4.3 million in 2023 shortly after his marriage to Bianca Censori, the residence honors the Chumash people who once inhabited the land. The property features natural materials like Shou Sugi Ban siding, Santa Barbara stone, and hand-applied plaster, with interiors showcasing rich woods, textured stone, and earth tones that blend with the landscape. Amenities include a gourmet kitchen, formal dining and living rooms, a luxurious primary suite with a steam shower and sauna, and outdoor resort-style features such as a pool, spa, fire pit, kitchen, yoga deck, and a detached horse stable reflecting the region’s equestrian heritage.

This home is a major upgrade from the original 3,200-square-foot, three-bedroom house built in 1955, which West purchased in 2021 for $4.5 million to be closer to his children living nearby with Kim Kardashian. West has been active in real estate, including buying and selling high-profile properties like a Malibu beach house and a Tadao Ando-designed home, which he gutted but ultimately sold at a loss after abandoning renovation plans.
