In a standout performance at the CSI5 event, Little and her talented Dutch Warmblood gelding Narado impressed by winning the $62,500 Bainbridge Companies CSI5 Speed class, finishing fastest over a challenging course designed by Alan Wade. Narado, who had only recently stepped up to 1.50m heights, completed the round in 67.98 seconds, edging out Charlotte Jacobs and Jonathan McCrea for an all-American podium. This marked Narado’s second podium in as many days, following a third-place finish in the 1.45m class and a prior CSI2* Grand Prix win, showcasing the gelding’s rapid development and versatility.
Little, who has owned Narado since June, praised the horse’s intelligence and heart, noting his growth and eagerness to tackle every challenge. With strong backing from the Morcombe Lempera Family, the plan is for 17-year-old Victoria Morcombe Lempera to eventually take over Narado, fulfilling a long-term vision. Riding high after a recent team victory in the FEI Nations Cup, Little described the season as a dream, highlighting the promising trajectory for both herself and Narado.
