Nyssa, a 12-year-old American Paint Horse mare, is this week’s featured adoptable horse from Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue. She is currently in training at MB Equine in Indiana and is looking for an upper level rider with access to a good trainer for lessons and additional training. Nyssa has experience with cattle, camping trips, obstacles, and more, making her a versatile horse with potential as a playday or western pleasure horse.
Nyssa is described as having smooth gaits, a great temperament, and being easy to handle both in the field and in a stall. She is well-behaved for grooming, saddling, and loading in a trailer. Nyssa is currently in training and will be available for adoption soon from MB Equine in Indiana. If you are interested in adopting Nyssa, you can apply through the ASPCA Right Horse program’s online adoption platform.
