Meeker County 4-H’ers participated in the Minnesota 4-H State Horse show, showcasing their skills in hippology, horse judging, training, speech, showmanship, and drill team skills. Participants learn about various aspects of the horse industry and can train untrained horses through a five-step process. The experience helps youth develop communication skills and a deeper interest in horses, contributing to their success in school and potential future careers.

Those who do not own or lease a horse can still enroll in the horseless horse project to participate in the program.
