Meadowlands Amateur Driving Club Donates Over $70,000 to Charities This Holiday Season

The Meadowlands Amateur Driving Club (MADC) has donated over $70,000 in driver commissions to a variety of charities this holiday season, supporting causes ranging from horse retirement and rescue organizations to local food pantries and disease research foundations such as those for Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s. Club President Joe Lee highlighted the club’s pride in contributing to both local and national charities, crediting the generosity of the Meadowlands and its supporters for enabling these donations.

The donations were distributed among numerous organizations, including the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, New Vocation Racehorse Adoption Program, Toys for Tots, Wounded Warriors, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, among others. Meadowlands COO/GM Jason Settlemoir praised the MADC for its role in enhancing weekend racing events and acknowledged the positive impact of the club’s charitable contributions on the community. The selection of charities was made by the MADC board, which includes key Meadowlands leadership.
