The Manitou Agricultural Fair, celebrating its 140th anniversary, brought the community together for a weekend filled with family-friendly activities such as 4-H and horse shows, farm equipment demonstrations, and interactive exhibits. Ag Society president Andy Keen emphasized the fair’s focus on youth, highlighting a record year for 4-H projects and the importance of fostering good sportsmanship, especially in the equine events where a special award honors the late Kevin Johnson. The event’s success relies heavily on local business sponsorships and volunteer support.
