Man Pleads Guilty to Sexually Abusing Horses While Volunteering at UK Stables

Corey Coleman, a 26-year-old volunteer at several UK stables, pleaded guilty to sexually abusing horses after explicit security footage revealed multiple incidents of abuse. stable owner Alex Hill discovered the disturbing videos, which showed Coleman using a mare to entice a stallion before committing the acts. Despite suffering spinal fractures in an unrelated incident, Coleman returned to the stables and lied about the cause of his injury. The horses’ conditioned behavior suggested the abuse had been ongoing for months.

Coleman was arrested and charged with causing unnecessary suffering to two stallions, failing to ensure the welfare of a mare, and neglecting adequate care for animals under his supervision. The case raised additional concerns as Coleman lived with his girlfriend and had ambitions of a career involving horses, while also owning other pets. The court proceedings highlighted serious violations of animal welfare laws and the suffering inflicted on the animals.
