A man in Vernon, British Columbia, has been charged with bestiality after security cameras captured him trespassing on a rural property used for horse jumping and training in January. The incident allegedly occurred on January 24, and the man is scheduled for a court hearing to set a trial date. Vernon North Okanagan RCMP confirmed the charge but declined to provide further details.
The investigation began when the property owner, Abigail Equestrian, reported trespassing and shared security footage on social media showing the alleged assault on horses, which drew significant public attention and numerous tips to the police. The case is now before the courts.
