The Kimball-Banner County Fair featured a busy day of 4-H horse competitions on Wednesday, with participants aged 8 to 18 competing in various events including Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Trail, Reining, Barrel Racing, and Pole Bending. Standout performers included Taylor Whitney, who dominated the senior division by winning multiple Grand Champion titles and Reserve Champion in Barrel Racing, and MaKayla Loy, who swept the junior division as Grand Champion in all competitions.
In the intermediate division, Laural Norberg and Karleigh Lukassen earned several Grand and Reserve Champion titles across different categories, while Jalanna Krakow and Kyndal Reich also secured top honors in trail, pole bending, and reining events. The competition was notably close in the senior division, with Taylor Whitney, Giorgetta Varra, and Mallory Hottell all earning multiple top placements throughout the day.
