KEEP Announces New Board Members and Leadership for 2026

The Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) has announced new leadership and three new board members effective January 2026. Adam Bowden, a Standardbred and Thoroughbred breeder; Adam Koenig, a former state representative and current executive director of the Kentucky Quarter Horse Racing Association; and Katie Taylor, a Thoroughbred advisor with extensive industry experience, were unanimously elected to the Board of Directors. Additionally, Fred Sarver, a longtime board member and respected industry leader, was elected chair, with Rob Tribbett continuing as vice chair, and outgoing chair Shannon Cobb moving to an at-large position.

KEEP’s new leadership reflects a broad representation of Kentucky’s equine industry, aiming to advance education, advocacy, and awareness across all breeds and disciplines. Sarver expressed enthusiasm for working with the board and staff to further the organization’s mission, highlighting the value of the diverse expertise the new members bring. KEEP continues to play a vital role in supporting Kentucky’s equine community through its initiatives and collaborative efforts.
