Day 6 of the 2025 Iowa State Fair, marking the halfway point of the 11-day event, features a packed schedule including 4H livestock shows, the Pedal Tractor Pull, Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulls, and the Beard Growing Contest. Gates open at 8 a.m., with admission priced at $16 for adults and children 12 and older, $10 for ages 6-11, and free for kids 5 and under. Tuesday is also “Titan Day,” offering a $200 rebate on select farm tires, and visitors can engage with Local 5 and CW Iowa 23’s live broadcasts and interactive weather experiences at the Administration Building.
The highlight of the day is the Grandstand concert at 8 p.m., featuring country band Rascal Flatts performing for the second time at the fair, joined by special guest Neal McCoy. Following the concert, a fireworks display is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. Weather-wise, attendees should expect humid conditions with highs in the low to mid-80s, scattered thunderstorms, and cloudy skies throughout the day.
