Inglis, a prominent Australian auction house, has partnered with the China Horse Owners Alliance (CHOA), appointing the organization as its official representative in China. CHOA, which represents nearly 90% of China-based horse owners and has operated for a decade, will focus on increasing Chinese owner participation in all Inglis sales, including digital auctions. The alliance’s General Secretary, Huang Qingcai, expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting Inglis’ long-standing reputation and the opportunity to strengthen ties between Chinese horse owners and Inglis.
Sebastian Hutch, Inglis Bloodstock’s CEO, emphasized the significant growth potential of the Chinese market and welcomed the formal collaboration with CHOA. Both parties are optimistic about expanding Chinese involvement in horse racing and sales, aiming to build a strong, mutually beneficial relationship moving forward.
