The Venango County Fair concluded its equine events with the Open Horse Games Show held in the Kiwanis Bowl arena, featuring fun and engaging activities such as barrel racing, relay races, cookie walks, and egg and spoon classes. Unlike the earlier, more competitive shows that served as qualifiers for 4-H district competitions, this final event was considered a lighthearted “fun show” for riders of all ages to enjoy.
Throughout the week, the fair showcased a range of horse-related competitions, highlighting both the skill and enthusiasm of participants. The open games show provided a festive atmosphere where riders could relax and celebrate their shared passion for horses, rounding out the fair’s equine activities with excitement and community spirit.
