Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship Kicks Off with Over 300 Horses Competing

The Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship, part of the Fujairah Equestrian Championships, will take place from December 18th to 21st at the Fujairah Fort arena. Over 300 Arabian horses from around the world will compete, with a panel of Arab and international judges overseeing the competitions. The event is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

Preparations for the championship have been meticulous, ensuring the event’s readiness and significance in preserving equestrian traditions. The total prize for the championship is AED4 million, along with the prestigious Golden Sword of Fujairah award. Attendees also have the chance to win 20 travel tickets to Egypt through a raffle draw sponsored by one of the event sponsors.

This year’s competition will feature top-ranking colts from international equestrian events, showcasing Fujairah as a premier destination for Arabian horse breeding and competitions during the UAE and Gulf equestrian season. The championship aims to promote Arab cultural heritage to global audiences while celebrating the beauty and skill of Arabian horses.
