Forth Bridge and his owner/trainer Louise Robson are finalists for the RoR Community Impact Award 2025 for their contributions to the Buckinghamshire community. Forth Bridge, a former racehorse retrained in dressage, has been involved in community activities, including meeting local schoolchildren during National Racehorse Week.
Louise Robson created Thoroughbred dressage in 2012 to work with former racehorses and help them compete in dressage. She also hosts educational events and started a podcast offering retraining advice for former racehorse owners. Forth Bridge visited Denbigh High School during National Racehorse Week, where he interacted with students and helped inspire interest in the equine industry.
The public vote for the RoR Community Impact Award is open until January 10, with the winner to be announced at the RoR Awards at Cheltenham Racecourse on January 25, 2025. Louise Robson expressed gratitude for the nomination and emphasized the importance of providing the best life possible for former racehorses through retraining efforts.
