Firefighters Rescue Hypothermic Horse Trapped on Ice in Granger, Indiana

Firefighters from Clay Fire in Granger, Indiana, responded to a call about a horse named Jericho trapped on ice and unable to get up. Upon arrival, they found Jericho showing signs of hypothermia due to prolonged exposure to cold temperatures. To protect the horse from the wind and cold, firefighters constructed a makeshift tent while the owner encouraged Jericho to stand.

Eventually, Jericho managed to get up on his own and safely returned to his stall. He is now warm and recovering, enjoying plenty of treats.
