Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has launched a bespoke Fiddler on the Roof pop-up experience at the Dublin Horse Show, celebrating the return of the acclaimed musical to Dublin for a limited run from October 7 to 18. Fresh from winning multiple 2025 Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival, the production invites visitors to immerse themselves in the show’s rich tradition and design, with special events such as a live performance by West End star Matthew Woodyatt and fiddler Roman Lytwyniw. This production marks the first UK and Ireland tour of Fiddler on the Roof in over 12 years, featuring a powerhouse creative team including director Jordan Fein, choreographer Julia Cheng, and Tony-winning designer Tom Scutt. The story follows Tevye, a Jewish milkman in 1905 Anatevka, as he navigates tradition and change with his five daughters. The cast includes Matthew Woodyatt as Tevye and Olivier nominees Beverley Klein and Raphael Papo, promising audiences a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of love, community, and resilience.
