Dressage Rider Jess Dunn Aims for Irish Selection at World Championships

dressage rider Jess Dunn, based at White Hill Stud in Lancashire, has switched her nationality to Irish and is aiming for selection for the World Championships this summer. Riding her top horse Dan Its Carston, Jess recently competed at Lier CDI3*, finishing eighth in the grand prix special and 17th in the grand prix. She credits her supportive team at White Hill and guidance from Irish Olympic rider Abi Lyle for helping her pursue this ambitious goal.

Jess acknowledges the pressure but is focused on enjoying the training process and learning with Danny. With a structured plan developed alongside Becky Moody, she aims to peak at the right time, with upcoming competitions planned in Belgium and other internationals. Jess remains hopeful and determined to see what opportunities arise this summer as she pursues her dreams in dressage.
