The U.S. Coast Guard rescued three individuals from a disabled sailboat located 35 miles east of Jupiter Inlet and towed them safely to West End, Bahamas. This operation highlights the Coast Guard’s ongoing partnership with The Bahamas, which facilitates swift coordination during maritime rescue efforts.
The Coast Guard also emphasized safety precautions for boaters, advising them to check weather conditions, ensure their vessels are well-maintained, and have dependable communication equipment before setting out on the water.
