Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale Shine in World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle

Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle with an impressive score of 86.645%, marking their first competition since the Paris Olympic medal performance. Fry described the ride as an unforgettable experience in front of a packed stadium, showcasing the 13-year-old KWPN stallion’s talent.

Isabell Freese of Norway and Total Hope OLD placed second with a personal best score of 83.270%, while Dinja van Liere of the Netherlands and Hartsuijker came in third with a score of 80.225%. The competition marked the first step in a potential campaign for Fry’s first start at the annual championship Final in Basel, Switzerland next April.

The next qualifier in Western Europe is set to take place in Mechelen, Belgium after Christmas. Other notable competitors in the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle included Becky Moody on Jagerbomb, Nanna Skodborg Merrald on Blue Hors St. Schufro, and Hans Peter Minderhoud on Glock’s Toto JR.
