Caylijo Giard Named 2025 Bonner County Fair Queen, Continuing Family Tradition

Caylijo Giard was named the 2025 Bonner County Fair queen, continuing a family legacy as her mother, grandmother, and other relatives have also held fair royalty titles. A dedicated member of the Sagle Saddle Tramps 4-H Club, Giard has a deep passion for horses, which she credits with helping her develop confidence and communication skills. Beyond horses, she has participated in various animal projects including swine, dairy goats, and meat goats, earning accolades such as reserve overall champion for one of her market goats. She also enjoys static projects like leathercraft and sewing.

Giard plans to attend Washington State University to pursue veterinary studies, aiming to become a large animal vet. She values 4-H for the life skills and sense of family it has provided her since infancy and intends to remain involved as a leader after college to give back to the community. Through her role as fair queen, she hopes to advocate for 4-H and share her passion for the organization’s diverse opportunities with others.
