Bury Wildlife Charity Hosts Free Christmas Fayre with Santa’s Grotto and Festive Fun

The Kirklees Valley Wildlife charity, which cares for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife in Greater Manchester, is hosting its first Christmas Fayre on November 22 from 11am to 3pm at Greenmount old school. The free-entry event offers festive activities for all ages, including craft stalls with unique gifts, a cake sale, chocolate and alcohol tombolas, a raffle, and a Santa’s grotto where children can meet Santa for £5, which includes a photo and a gift. The charity is also seeking donations for tombola prizes, which can be dropped off or collected.

Patrick Jackson, the Wildlife Care Manager, highlighted the event as a fun-filled day with games and festive cheer for children, while adults can enjoy browsing stalls and participating in raffles. Parking is available opposite the venue, and those interested in booking a stall or Santa grotto spaces can contact the charity or book online. The fayre aims to raise support for the charity’s ongoing wildlife care efforts while providing a joyful start to the festive season for the local community.
