British Para Dressage Squad Nominated for European Championships with Experienced Riders and New Debutants

British Equestrian and British dressage para selectors have announced eight nominated combinations vying for a place on the British para dressage team for the European Championships in Ermelo, Netherlands, from 3–7 September. The squad includes experienced riders like Sophie Wells, Lee Pearson, and Georgia Wilson, who competed at the Paris Paralympics, alongside debutants Jemima Green and Nicola Naylor. The nominations are categorized by classification grades, featuring horses ranging from 7 to 18 years old, with final team selections to be confirmed around 21 July, contingent on maintaining fitness and performance.

The British Equestrian World Class programme, supported by National Lottery funding, UK Sport, and partners such as Agria and Bates Saddles, plays a crucial role in preparing and supporting the team for senior championships. This backing ensures riders and horses receive year-round assistance to optimize their performance at major events like the European Championships.
