Chloe (Flo) Dawes, a dressage rider and livery yard owner from Bristol, was part of the Hawkstone Farmers Choir that impressed judges on ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent. The choir, founded by Jeremy Clarkson to unite people connected to farming through singing, earned a golden buzzer from judge Amanda Holden for their audition performance of Elbow’s “One Day Like This,” securing a spot in the live semi-finals. The group, formed from over 500 applicants across the UK farming community, celebrates rural life and agriculture, with members including farmers, farm workers, and agricultural professionals.
Flo, who competes at Small Tour level in dressage and runs Nupdown Equestrian with her mother, expressed pride in representing rural communities through the choir. The group aims to highlight the importance of rural life and plans to donate part of their potential £250,000 prize to a rural mental health charity, addressing ongoing challenges faced by farming communities. Britain’s Got Talent continues airing Saturdays on ITV1 and ITVX.
