Texas Rose Horse Park has been a vital venue for Area V, uniquely hosting Intermediate and Advanced level events in a region where many venues have ceased rated competitions. While lower-level events thrive locally, riders advancing to higher levels face the challenge of traveling over eight hours to compete, often leading them to leave the area. To sustain and grow the sport in the South, Texas Rose is raising funds to rebuild its Intermediate cross-country course, aiming to raise $15,000 by early May. Donations will support the construction of new jumps, with various sponsorship tiers offering recognition opportunities.
The article also highlights major international and U.S. eventing competitions happening that weekend, providing links for schedules, entries, scoring, and live streams. Additionally, it features a VIP experience at stable View with gourmet food and prime viewing areas, along with a training tip for riding bank jumps. Overall, the focus is on supporting local eventing infrastructure while keeping the community engaged with upcoming events and resources.
