Around 50 wild horses and burros will be available for adoption from June 27 to June 29 at the Matt Bischof Training Facility in Hamilton, Montana. This event is organized by the Bureau of Land Management as part of the Bitterroot Valley Wild Horse & Burro Adoption Event, with adoption hours running from 3 to 7 p.m. on June 27 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 28 and 29.
In addition to the adoptions, a Mustang Matt “Next Steps” Clinic will be held on June 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested adopters can apply in advance through the Bureau of Land Management’s online portal at wildhorsesonline.blm.gov. The adoptions operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
