Bitesize Youth Theatre transformed their usual performance space into a Christmas film set to help raise awareness for Blood Bikes Wales, a volunteer charity providing free courier services to the NHS across Wales. Partnering with Rocking Horse Media, the theatre group supported the production of an annual Christmas video aimed at highlighting the essential, free services Blood Bikes offer, especially during the winter months when fundraising opportunities are limited.

Phil Hackney, a Blood Bikes Wales rider, spearheaded the project to enhance the film’s production quality by involving Bitesize Youth Theatre and Rocking Horse Media. The young actors gained valuable screen experience while contributing to a meaningful cause. The upcoming film will focus on the vital medication deliveries Blood Bikes provide for those too ill to visit pharmacies, with the charity encouraging the public to learn more and follow their work online.
