Becky Moody and Jagerbomb Win FEI Dressage World Cup Final Freestyle with Record Score

At the Zen Elite FEI dressage World Cup Final in Fort Worth, Texas, Becky Moody and her Dutch Warmblood Jagerbomb delivered an outstanding performance, winning the freestyle with a personal best score of 88.33%. Despite the challenges of travel and a lively crowd, Jagerbomb remained focused, aided by ear protectors, while Moody chose a Beatles medley for their routine to engage the audience. U.S. rider Christian Simonson placed second with Indian Rock, performing to “Rocky” movie music, and Poland’s Sandra Sysojeva took third with Maxima Bella, both horses also handling the energetic atmosphere well.

Other notable performances included Kevin Kohmann and Ben Ebeling, who placed ninth and tenth respectively, both praising the enthusiastic crowd. An emotional highlight was the retirement of Morgan Barbançon’s 20-year-old stallion Sir Donnerhall II, honored with a standing ovation. The event showcased the skill and artistry of dressage, supported by Chewy Equine, which provides essential products and care for horse owners and competitors.
