Australian Eventers Shine with Strong Performances at CCI3S and CCI2S Competitions

Australian rider Andrew Hoy and his 16-year-old horse Vassily delivered a strong performance in the CCI3*S event, finishing 12th out of 100 competitors with a total score of 31.6 after going clear and under time in both jumping phases. Having already secured their FEI Eventing World Championship Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERs) last year at Luhmühlen and Strzegom, they aim to build on these results ahead of the World Championship Nominated Entries deadline in July 2026. Fellow Australians Grace Kay and Pru Dawes also posted solid results, with Kay and Harthill Samba finishing on 41 and Dawes with Coolnorran Cooley on 47.1, both jumping double clear rounds.

Germany’s Calvin Böckmann and Kasparow FRH won the CCI3S on a dressage score of 26. Andrew Hoy also competed in the CCI2S and CCN*1 events, finishing 14th in Section B with Gulliver des Lones and posting a double clear with Call It Cooley, respectively. Overall, the Australian riders demonstrated consistent performances across multiple levels in this competitive event.
