Filmed at the Sanctuary’s Yelverton Moorland Rescue Facility on Dartmoor, the advert highlights ponies rescued from recent welfare cases. Angela shares her deep emotional connection with horses, recalling how her own thoroughbred mare, “Katie,” provided her with calm and solace during her demanding journalism career. Her passion for equine welfare drives her commitment to the Sanctuary’s mission of rescuing and rehabilitating horses and ponies in need.
In addition to the TV advert, Angela appears in a short film on the charity’s website, where she reflects on the majestic nature of horses and condemns cruelty towards them.
