Agatha Lignelli and Khloe Kerins Win Individual Golds at 2025 NAYC in Traverse City

At the 2025 Gotham North/FEI North American Youth Jumping Championships (NAYC) held in Traverse City, Mich., standout performances were seen in the children’s and pre-junior categories. Agatha Lignelli dominated the pre-junior individual final, riding her sister’s mare Xo Kiara fault-free across all rounds to secure gold, following her earlier team gold win. Collin Sweetnam and Madison Wiener earned silver and bronze respectively, both demonstrating strong partnerships with their mounts and consistent performances throughout the competition.

In the children’s category, 14-year-old Khloe Kerins made a remarkable debut by winning double gold—team gold for Zone 4 and individual gold riding Small Change without faults across five rounds. Lola Bacardi took silver, and Mexico’s Eva Montemayor Galvan earned bronze after a jump-off. Kerins credited her rapid partnership with Small Change and her calm approach under pressure as keys to her success, expressing excitement for future competitions. The event highlighted emerging young talent and the importance of composure and strong horse-rider bonds in high-level jumping.
