The 2025 RDS Dublin Horse Show celebrates its 150th edition from August 6th to 10th, featuring over 160 classes and competitions with a prize fund nearing €1.5 million. The event transforms Dublin into a hub for equestrian enthusiasts worldwide, showcasing a diverse range of activities from pony club games and native Irish breeds to international showjumping, including the prestigious Nation’s Cup of Ireland and the Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland. The Show combines sport, tradition, and socializing, supported by key partners like Rolex, Fáilte Ireland, and Defender, and highlights Ireland’s rich equestrian heritage and its significance to tourism and the economy.
The launch event featured prominent figures such as Dublin’s Lord Mayor Ray McAdam and Minister for Enterprise Peter Burke, who emphasized the Show’s cultural and economic importance. Show Director Fiona Sheridan noted record entries and a full program of events, including the Positive Strides initiative, Side Saddle classes, and the Best Dressed competition. Additional attractions include a 150th anniversary exhibition and a Kids Zone with family-friendly activities, ensuring the Show remains a premier summer sporting and social event in Dublin.
