The 2025 RDS Dublin Horse Show, celebrating 150 years of equestrian tradition, will take place from August 6–10 and features the highly anticipated Best Dressed Competition on August 7. Sponsored by Poretti, this event awards €10,000 to the overall winner and highlights individuality, elegance, and personal style. Judges Aoife McNamara, a young sustainable fashion designer, and style expert Bairbre Power emphasize comfort, weather appropriateness, sustainability, and confidence as key factors for contestants. Aoife encourages showcasing Irish design and sustainability, while Bairbre stresses personality, poise, color, texture, grooming, and the traditional wearing of hats.
In addition to the main prize, other awards include Best Dressed Runner Up, Best Hat Design, and new categories like the Best Dressed Irish Heritage and Sustainability Style Award, sponsored by Jack Murphy, and the Best Dressed Duo for couples. Prizes range from luxury hotel stays to wardrobe vouchers.
