The 2025 Amateur Equestrian Obstacle Course Competition was held at the Thien Ma Madagui Horse and Dog Racing Track, featuring 20 athletes from nine leading Vietnamese equestrian clubs. Competitors navigated a demanding 1,800-meter cross-country course with 10 obstacles, showcasing their skills and horsemanship. The event attracted a large audience, including locals and tourists, and aimed to promote equestrian sports as a new model of sport and recreation in Vietnam.
Beyond the competition, the event sought to strengthen Vietnam’s equestrian talent pool for future SEA Games participation and to encourage grassroots sports development, particularly in Lam Dong Province. The top prizes were awarded to Y Talia Bya (Happy Ranch Club) for first place, Nguyen Thanh Son Lam (PTS Viet Tri Horse Club) for second, and Nguyen Quynh Trang (Happy Ranch Club) for third, with a total prize fund of VND1.5 billion (US$57,034).
