The 2024 saddle horse show parade in downtown Hollister on June 22 will mark the 90th anniversary of the San Benito County rodeo and Horse Show. The parade will feature over 50 community entries, including floats, marching bands, horsemen, wagons, and the 2024 Miss San Benito rodeo queen. This year’s parade will have the most horses ever, with 150 compared to last year’s 100.
Representatives of San Benito County will also be walking in the parade in honor of the county’s 150th anniversary. 70 volunteers are helping with setup, teardown, and guiding each float to ensure a fun and safe experience for all ages. The Downtown Hollister Association CEO expressed excitement for the 90th anniversary celebration and thanked volunteers for their efforts in keeping the parade tradition alive.
