Katie Wilson is a dedicated equestrian who has been competitively riding horses since age six and committed fully to the sport by year 9. Balancing around 30 hours a week caring for her horses alongside her studies, she values the physical and mental challenges of horse riding and the unique partnership it fosters. Despite setbacks due to her horses’ injuries, Katie has developed patience and resilience, with ambitions to compete in the Olympics and eventually run her own stable.
Megha Senthilkumar is a problem-solver and passionate advocate who has conducted extensive research on adolescent sleep, winning multiple Best in Fair awards for her work. She is also an accomplished public speaker focused on racial and gender discrimination, motivated by her own experiences of adversity. Megha plans to study health science and pursue a medical career, inspired by her parents’ resilience and driven to give back to her community.
