Woodbine’s live racing on Thursday will start an hour earlier than usual, with first post at 4:30 p.m. EST, to accommodate a 10-race card after the previous day’s program was canceled following just one race. This marks the beginning of the final week of the 2025 racing season, with Friday also starting at 4:30 p.m. EST and weekend cards beginning at 1:05 p.m. EST.
The Thursday card features a notable $83,272 maiden special weight sprint over six furlongs on the Tapeta surface, attracting eight horses aged three and up. Key contenders include Cajun Influence, trained by Michael De Paulo, who has shown consistent speed with two third-place finishes, and Lover Boy Mo, trained by Sylvester Ollivierre, who has performed best in similar extended-sprint races.
