Winter Therapeutic Riding Sessions Begin Jan. 10 at GAIT Equine Assisted Services

The seven-week Winter Therapeutic Riding session at GAIT Equine Assisted Services (GAIT EAS) starts on January 10 and runs Saturdays through February 21. Each 30-minute lesson, led by a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and trained volunteers, teaches participants basic horseback riding skills while providing therapeutic benefits such as improved physical abilities (balance, posture, coordination) and enhanced cognitive and social skills (attention, communication, socialization). The program offers a positive, supportive environment for personal growth, fun, and friendship.

GAIT EAS, a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center, serves children and adults with developmental, physical, and emotional challenges through inclusive equine-assisted programs. New participants must complete an application before their first lesson, with returning riders renewing forms annually. For more information or to register, interested individuals can visit the GAIT EAS website or contact them by phone or email.
