Willung Youth Florence White Wins 2025 Pony Club National Junior Tetrathlon Championship

Florence White, an 11-year-old from Willung, has demonstrated that dedication and perseverance can lead to remarkable achievements, regardless of background. She won the 2025 Pony Club Australia National Junior Tetrathlon Championship, a challenging event that includes swimming, running, laser shooting, and horse riding disciplines. White was also a vital member of the Victorian team, which placed third overall at the championships held at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre.

Despite training mostly alone due to the statewide nature of her team, White prepared rigorously across all disciplines—swimming with teammates, running with her mother’s guidance, practicing shooting at home, and refining her riding skills with her horse ‘Kipper.’ Her commitment and hard work have clearly paid off, highlighting her exceptional talent and determination.
