Willem Greve Triumphs in Thrilling Jump-Off to Win Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Stuttgart 2025/2026 Leg

Willem Greve of the Netherlands showcased exceptional skill and horsemanship to win the fourth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup 2025/2026 qualifier in Stuttgart, riding the 10-year-old mare Pretty Woman van’t Paradijs N.O.P. The competition featured a challenging 13-fence course designed by Christa Jung, testing precision and agility. After a demanding first round that saw only seven clear rounds, Greve capitalized on his advantageous final draw in a dramatic nine-fence jump-off, clocking the fastest time of 44.62 seconds to edge out Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida of Portugal and Peder Fredricson of Sweden.

The event highlighted strong performances from top riders, with notable clear rounds from Martin Fuchs, Alain Jufer, and Christian Ahlmann, though home favorites Daniel Deusser and Richard Vogel fell short. Giesteira Almeida, despite finishing second, expressed pride in his performance and sportsmanship. Following this leg, Brazilian rider Yuri Mansur leads the World Cup standings. The series continues with upcoming legs in A Coruña, London, and Mechelen, promising further high-level competition in the Western European League.
