Will Coleman and Off The Record Lead Fault-Free at U.S. Equestrian Open Final CCI4*-L Cross-Country

Will Coleman and Off The Record maintained their lead after a flawless cross-country round at the inaugural $200,000 U.S. Equestrian Open Final CCI4*-L, expanding their narrow 0.1 penalty advantage from dressage to a more comfortable margin. Coleman’s ride on Timmy, a 16-year-old Irish Sport Horse, was one of only three faultless rounds within the time, showcasing the horse’s exceptional consistency and determination. Coleman also delivered a fault-free performance on Very Dignified, moving the mare from 18th to sixth place after cross-country.

Despite Lucienne Bellissimo’s strong clear round with minimal time penalties aboard Kitsch Couture HPK, a penalty reversal for Boyd Martin and Miks Master C elevated them to second place, just behind Coleman going into Sunday’s show jumping. Phillip Dutton and Caroline Pamukcu rounded out the top five, with show jumping set to begin at noon Eastern Time. Bellissimo notably leads in two other divisions, highlighting her impressive overall performance at the event.
