White Horse Black Mountain, a local music nonprofit in Black Mountain, N.C., has introduced “Student Nights” on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, offering free admission to local college students who present a valid school ID. The venue, located at 105 Montreat Road near Montreat College, hosts a variety of performances including live music, dance, puppetry, theatre, and films.
An upcoming event features Dr. William Bares, a UNC Asheville music professor and jazz studies co-director, performing jazz on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., with general admission suggested donations of $15. For more details, visitors can check www.whitehorseblackmountain.org.
