The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was deployed to assist with a horse riding accident near Boggabri on the morning of December 26. A woman in her 30s suffered serious multiple injuries after falling from a horse on a property southeast of Boggabri.

NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team provided treatment at the scene before airlifting the patient to John Hunter Hospital for further care.
