Wayne County 4-H recently held its annual animal and livestock shows, featuring competitions in horse, cat, dog, rabbit, poultry, beef, goat, swine, sheep, and the Round Robin Contest. Standout participants included Cooper Coston, Kemberlin Walker, and Ryleigh Taylor in the Horse Show; Jacey Smith and Madyson Peddicord in the Cat and Dog Shows; and Kemberlin Walker and Ronen Tannahill in the Rabbit Show. Other notable winners were Isabelle Edmison and Lyla Fearn in Poultry, Kaylin Loker and Callen Robbins in Beef, Quay Johnson and Kenleigh Keyser in Goats, Ryn Keyser in Swine, and Addisyn and Corbin Hutchcraft in Sheep.
The events culminated with the Round Robin Contest, where Ava Lewis earned Grand Champion Senior Showman honors. The shows highlighted the dedication and skills of local youth across multiple livestock categories, with many participants recognized for their achievements in showmanship and animal care.
