The Washington County Fair parade, held on July 19, featured a variety of community groups and organizations showcasing their floats and talents. Highlights included the Washington County High School band performing along the parade route, and several champion floats such as those from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Washington Veterinary Clinic, Farmington 4H Club, and Washington County Hospital, which won the grand champion float award.
Other notable participants included the Washington Red PeeWee Baseball Team and Twin Valley Developmental Services, both recognized with champion awards for their floats. The parade also featured individuals like Deb Hill riding her horse and Ryan Sawin driving a class tractor through downtown, adding to the festive atmosphere of the county fair celebration.
