Warren County Commissioners Proclaim 4-H Week, Recognizing Program’s Impact and Achievements

On February 18, 2026, Warren County Commissioners officially proclaimed 4-H week, recognizing the program’s significant accomplishments. 4-H in Warren County serves youth ages 5 to 19 through 17 diverse clubs focused on hands-on learning in agriculture, health, STEM, and civic engagement. Activities range from raising livestock for auctions and participating in horse shows to crafting and community service projects. The teen council emphasizes leadership and community involvement for older members.

Participants like Flora and Evelyn Bilott have gained valuable skills such as leadership, responsibility, and animal care through their involvement. The program offers a wide variety of experiences including photography, woodworking, and equine skills, culminating in projects showcased at the Warren County Fair each August. For those interested in joining or volunteering, Penn State Educator Justin Heasley is the contact person.
